Mountain Point Credit, a systematic investment manager focused on the broadly syndicated loan (BSL) market, today announced that Matteo Nadalutti, CFA, has joined the firm as a Senior Loan Trader.

Nadalutti joins Mountain Point from Citi, where he most recently served as Head of Loan Portfolio Trading & CLO Optimization. During his time at Citi, he developed deep expertise in portfolio optimization and had extensive interaction with CLO managers. He also brings experience with analytical tools and quantitative strategies that have historically been more common in other fixed income products than in the BSL market.

At Mountain Point, Nadalutti joins Tim Maloney, Portfolio Manager and Head of Loan Trading, and Erika Parker to further bolster the firm’s trading team. Maloney and Nadalutti previously worked together at Citi, while Parker joined Mountain Point as a Loan Trader from Barclays.
